Our application is used by multiple groups to collect address data. Sometimes we host it, sometimes they do. We would always be the ones paying the bill. This means that there will be many different host machines. Which leads to the following questions:

  1. Is it okay that we might have dozens of different Authorized Domains that requests may be coming from? In short, what is the limit here before I need to open a new account.

  2. Is there a limit to the number of active Javascript API access identifiers ? I’d like to be able to separate out each one of my clients without opening a new account with you for each of them.

  3. Can I tie a domain to a particular API access identifier? Useful to ensure we haven’t screwed up an install somewhere, ultimately I could live without it if necessary.

  4. Can I get usage reports broken down by the API access identifier or Authorized Domain? This item is very important. I need to be able to easily track how many requests are being used per client so that I can make sure our licensing costs are at an appropriate level. Preferably I’d like this to be a detailed report. Meaning, I want to see the number of requests per day per API ID / Domain. I don’t need to know the actual request made, just the daily account break down.

  1. Absolutely. You can have as many different Authorized Domains as you need. We don't set a limit.

  2. There is no limit to the number of active Javascript API access identifiers.

  3. Currently there is no way to link the domain to the identifier. You would just need to keep track of that locally.

  4. These reports are available (upon request) but not yet available for you to perform manually on the website. We are happy to create the report as often as you need it and we are implementing this type of reporting into the new version of our system.
